The George Junior Republic School maintains two varsity sports: basketball and track. Baseball is provided as a club activity. Student athletes must maintain passing grades and appropriate behavior to remain eligible. Any student in grades 7 – 12 who participates in interscholastic athletics, at a school that is a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Inc. (P.I.A.A.), must adhere to the P.I.A.A. eligibility rules for student athletes. Over the years George Junior Republic has won numerous conference and district championships and two state titles.
